Adult Leader Uniform
Adult leaders are required to be fully and properly uniformed so as to set a positive example for the boys that they lead. All of the above uniform requirements for “Boys” will be in effect for “Leaders” with the following allowances and exceptions:
Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters:
- Class A & B hats are optional to be worn, however, in Class B uniforms, the leader has the option to wear/not wear a Class B hat only. In Class A uniform, the leader has the option to wear/not wear a Class A hat or a wide-brim scout leader 'trooper style' hat.
Committee Chairman and Committee Members:
- A Committee Member (including the Chairman) must wear EITHER a full Class A or Class B uniform as detailed above in the ‘Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmaster’ paragraph; OR no uniform (partial uniforms do not present the proper example for the boys.
Merit Badge Counselors and Visitors
- Merit Badge Counselors and Scout visitors are not required to be in uniform.
