Collin's project was constructing a 30ft long foot bridge crossing over a waterway on the new Blue/Orange Trail and reconstructing the trails to meet the bridge.
Providing a safe way for hikers to cross the water course.

Raymond's project was to beautify, landscape and remove over grown
shrubs and poison ivy making it safe and enjoyable for children to use.

center by planting two trees, a number of rose bushes and other shrubs.

Ricky's project was building a outdoor performance stage for children and staff to use for plays and concerts.

Nick's project was to build a cooking addition to the Kiwanis Picnic Pavilion at Sage Park. Nick's addition will provide a covered place to cook in inclement weather without smoking out the rest of the pavilion.

Stephen's project was to paint and refurbish the interior of the St. Paul's food booth at the Berlin Fair Grounds. Stephan also made cosmetic repairs where there was prior water damage from a leaky roof.

Matt reclaimed and furnished a basement area at the Springfield Group Home and turned it into a recreation area where the youths that were living in the house would have a relaxing, comfortable and clean area to congregate.

Justin's project was to install patio pavers between the curb and the sidewalk on Alling Street from the church to the school. This will make it easier senior citizens and parishioners to get in and out of their cars when attending church services.

Brad's eagle project was to replace a retaining wall in front of St. Mark Church where Brad is a member in New Britain. He had to tear down a deteriorating wall and replace it with a structurally sound one.

Mike's project was to place "Town of Berlin Conservation Area" signs within the borders of every park in the town. He concentrated on trail heads and entrances of each park.

Mike's project was to reconfigure the cart paths on the old Pistol Creek Golf course into handicap accessible walking trials. The marked, measured and cleaned the paths for the walker's use. Providing informational distance and directional signs.

Dan's project consisted cutting a new loop trail on the new Sierra Ranch property which is a new town park in Berlin. This new trail will allow hikers to loop back to the main trial instead of going on to the adjoining private property.

Theo's project was to cut and mark a trail in The Scheer property the new town park. Theo's crew both cut, blazed and secured trials for use by the people of the Town of Berlin. Theo's new trails will later connect with trails in some of the other town parks.

Joe's project was to build 16 picnic tables for picnic area behind the cafeteria that serves as a "Senior Court" for the 8th graders for lunch and meeting purposes. This allows the 8th graders to have lunch or hold a class in the outdoors in good weather.

Dominic's project was to refinish the storage cabinets in the YMCA
program room and build a sand box playing area for the young children that attend pre-school there.

Nick's project was to create an 18 X 36 foot picnic area behind the cafeteria that will serve as a "Senior Court" for the 8th graders for lunch and meeting purposes. The area was constructed with river stone with a cobble stone boarder. He constructed a privacy fence to hide the oil tank that abutted the area.

Ryan's project was to refinish the outdoor Stations of the Cross that bordered the parking lot at the church. He also refurbished the kneelers that were by each station.

Jon's project was to identify research and make a presentation to the State American Legion and State Veteran's Commission to obtain funds for new Grave stones for three of Berlin's Patriots that fought in the Revolutionary War and the war of 1812. Richard Hubbard, Seth Galpin and George Hubbard.

Michael's project was to refurbish and rebuild the men's room in the American Legion Hall. The room was completely repainted and new wall board was mounted along with refitting all the bathroom fixtures.

Matthew's project consisted of cleaning, reclaiming and constructing additional bird houses in the Marjorie Moore Bird Sanctuary area behind the Berlin Historical Society Museum. As an adjunct Matthew also arranged the cleaning on litter by the troop 24 scouts and scouters along New Britain Rd. and Farmington Ave., two major streets in town.
